Located on the Southeast of Danang City, Marble mountains are a cluster of five marble and limestone hills, scattered over the area of 2km2 and named after the five elements: Kim (Metal), Moc (Wood), Thuy (Water), Hoa (Fire) and Tho (Earth). Each mountain has a particular beauty in shape, position and rock material.
All of the mountains have cave entrances and numerous tunnels, and it is possible to climb to the summit of Mt. Thuy. Several Buddhist sanctuaries can also be found within the mountains, making this a famous tourist destination.
